Department Recruit analysts are responsible for assigning members to the search committee. Once assigned, the search committee members will sign in using their UCSBnetID and UCSBnetPassword at: https://recruit.ap.ucsb.edu.
No. As of September 1, 2015 the Academic Recruitment Packet (Part I paper process) is no longer being used. For Academic recruitments, use UC Recruit, found here: https://recruit.ap.ucsb.edu/.
To create a recruitment that is Open Until Filled, when creating a new Recruitment Plan, in the Dates section simply click the Intial Review Date/Open Until Filled button. Establish the Open date, the Initial Review Date, and a Final date. Please note that you can push out the Final date as needed in order to allow for multiple Review dates.
After a Review date passes, a department analyst may navigate to the recruitment and click the Edit button next to the Dates section. The analyst may then enter a new Review and/or Final date. The analyst should then click the Save Changes button.
In the Recruitment Name field, enter the title of the position, then add (Multiple Positions Available).
